A North Carolina native, Zachary holds a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Methodist University.  While there, he taught music at all levels and performed extensively on his primary instrument, the bassoon.  Zachary also continues to perform as a member of the Fayetteville Symphonic Band.  Zachary teaches all levels of band at Fayetteville Academy.
