Class of 2016
Morgan Elaine Lonergan graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in December 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in English, and a minor in Gender and Women’s studies. She is a co-founder and editor of the university’s independent student newspaper. She will begin teaching English in South Korea in May of 2020.
Emma McCauley is currently a Spanish and Philosophy double major at Wake Forest University. For the past two summers, she has worked for Christian Dior Couture in Paris doing PR and digital communications work.
Isabella Ponder is entering her senior year at UNC-Chapel Hill, pursuing a degree in broadcast journalism from the UNC School of Media and Journalism. She has been accepted into the Disney College Program for Fall 2020 working merchandise.
Sydney Smith is attending NC State University and is an intern at Cape Fear Farm Credit this summer. Read her blog.
Erica Denise Underwood is currently a teacher at Independence Montessori Academy in Broadway, NC and a childbirth and postpartum doula. She graduated from Barton College in July 2019 with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies degree in Education and Religion and Philosophy. She also competed in pageants throughout college and is currently the reigning Miss World Raleigh 2019-2020.
