Class of 2008

Susanna (Long) Haley received her B.S. in biology from East Carolina University in 2012. She was accepted to Methodist University’s Physician Assistant Program and plans to practice in the Fayetteville area upon graduation in 2019. She was married in May, 2015.

 

Sarah Williford attended the University of Georgia in Athens, GA as an undergraduate from 2008-2011 before starting pharmacy school, graduating with her Doctor of Pharmacy in 2015. After that, she completed her post-graduate year 1 pharmacy residency at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, FL. Sarah then completed a PGY2 specialization residency in critical care at the University of Maryland Medical Center & R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, MD. During the residency year, she also spent one month rotating in Burn Intensive Care at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. After finishing residency, she accepted a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist position at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC where she currently works and lives. In her current role, she floats and provides clinical pharmacy coverage in all of the Intensive Care Units including medicine, burn, surgery/trauma, neuro, cardiothoracic/cardiac surgery, and the emergency department. Sarah also provides coverage in other areas such as abdominal transplant, lung transplant, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary hypertension, infectious diseases, neurology, hepatology, nephrology, and psychiatry as needed.
