Class of 1992
Mikey (Michelle Steen) Lewis has held many odd jobs in support of her love for dance, music, and DJ-ing: event promotions, nightclub management, festival coordinator and bookings, game day operations, and choreographer for pro and semi-pro sports teams. She holds a BFA in digital media production and graphic design and currently works as a contractor, designing logos and moveable graphics for sports teams and companies nationwide. For fun, Mikey hosts a live mix radio show and DJs across the country. Recently, she has also gotten back into painting. Married in 2008 to CSM Christopher G. Lewis, Mikey also balances life as a supportive military spouse. Mikey and Chris, along with their two “kids,” Joe (African grey parrot) and Bazil (Maltese shih tzu puppy), are currently stationed at Fort Benning, GA. Living so close to Senoia and Atlanta has afforded Mikey yet another check off her bucket list – being an extra on The Walking Dead TV series. Chris and Mikey will retire from Army life in February, 2020 and look forward to returning to Fayetteville to be closer to family, and of course, friends who are still in the area.
