Class of 1985
Jody Garison is a Fayetteville Academy charter member, having attended FA from first grade through graduation. He played on the first team that won the state championship in soccer. He also played on the lacrosse team and was in band with the first group under Dr. Ray. He attended Appalachian State University and earned a B.S. in business. Several years later, he went back to NC State and got his accounting degree and then went on to Master’s. Jody sat for his CPA and passed all five at the same time. He is CFO for CRM of Pawley’s Island,SC. He has one daughter, Alix, who is a senior in high school this year.
Mark J. Harris earned his B.S. in music education from Elon University and is entering his 18th year as Director of Convention Services at Koury Convention Center/Sheraton Greensboro as well as his 14th year as Director of Music/organist at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Burlington, NC.
