Mr. Bishop holds a bachelor’s degree from UNC-Pembroke and a master’s degree from Campbell University. Mr. Bishop oversees all athletic teams and the entire athletic program grades 7-12. He has served the Academy since 1982 and has been an educator since 1974.
Mrs. Burt holds a bachelor’s degree from West Virginia University with an emphasis in Child Development and Family Studies. She is a member of the Phi Upsilon Omicron National Honor Fraternity. She has been an educator since 2000 and joined the academy in 2011. Prior to an administrative role, Mrs. Burt taught kindergarten and pre-kindergarten. She is thrilled to have both of her children attending the Academy.
Mr. Dennison previously served as Fayetteville Academy’s Director of Facilities from 2003 to 2007 and has returned to the role. He also has served as the Fayetteville Academy girls’ varsity basketball coach, middle school girls’ basketball coach, and the varsity track and field coach for a number of years.
Mrs. Dennison previously worked at the Academy in the admissions and business offices and as an English and Journalism teacher. She spent 13 years as an Assistant Principal in the Cumberland County School System. Mrs. Dennison has a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Methodist University and an master’s degree in School Administration from the University of Phoenix. She also holds a Professional Educator’s license as a K-12 Principal. Mrs. Dennison’s husband, Kevin, also works at F.A. as the director of facilities, varsity track and field coach and the varsity girls’ basketball coach.
Mrs. Frady holds a bachelor’s degree in English and History and a master’s degree in American Studies from The College of William and Mary. She also has her M.Ed. in School Counseling from SUNY at Buffalo and earned a certificate in College Advising from Teachers College at Columbia University. Mrs. Frady served at the Academy from 2005-2010, first as the School Counselor and then as the Director of College Counseling. Prior to that time, she served as an Assistant Dean of Admissions at William and Mary and an Assistant Director of Admissions at UNC-Chapel Hill and Niagara University. Mrs. Frady returned to Fayetteville and to the Academy in 2016.
Dr. Guidi earned his degrees from the University of North Florida (BM), Florida State University (MM), and the University of Texas at Austin (DMA). Prior to coming to Fayetteville Academy, he was the Fine Arts Department Chair, a College Counselor, and a Music Teacher at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Austin, TX. He also served as the Assistant Dean of Students at St. Andrew’s for seven years. Prior to and during his thirteen years at St. Andrew’s, he also taught a variety of college level courses at Southwestern University, The University of Texas, and Florida State University.
Alison Jones has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in managerial communication from Florida Institute of Technology. Previously, Mrs. Jones worked as a development officer at High Point University and director of the Annual Fund at Florida Institute of Technology. She served as the communications and marketing specialist for the American Cancer Society in Gulfport, Miss. and the executive director also for the American Cancer Society in Gulfport.
Ms. Lambert holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ms. Lambert oversees the admissions office. She has served the Academy since 1983.
Mr. Pittman is a licensed CPA and holds a degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has been a resident of Fayetteville since 1987 and is an active member of the community, serving on many private and civic boards. Mr. Pittman and his wife, Dellmarie have three children, Christina, Mary Carty, and Sam. They are active in their church, Snyder Memorial Baptist.
Mr. Quesnel has served as the Head of School since 2012. He graduated from the University of Vermont in 1989 with a degree in mathematics. He has worked in two other independent schools in North Carolina since then. His prior positions held include Assistant Headmaster, Academic Dean, Athletic Director, Upper School math teacher, and coach. Mr. Quesnel and his wife, Wendy, have two grown children, Kelly and Jonathan.
Mr. Tisdale holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from East Carolina University. He has worked as an Information Technology consultant for clients such as Centura Bank and Microsoft. Mr. Tisdale also worked as a programmer, operations manager, systems administrator, and business analyst. Mr. Tisdale spent 12 years as a general contractor building and renovating houses. Mr. Tisdale, a native of Fayetteville, is married to Karen and has three children Dawson, Jackson, and Callie. He has served Fayetteville Academy since 2017.
