College Counseling
Fayetteville Academy’s college counseling program is designed to help students develop the ability and confidence to make informed decisions about their futures.
This process begins when students are in the ninth grade, providing them with an initial career exploration and college planning tools through Scoir. As each student progresses through the vigorous college preparatory program in our Upper School, we refine their individual college search process, assist them as they begin to narrow their focus, and finally provide appropriate guidance and support as they complete their applications and ultimately select the college where they will enroll.
The college counselor is available to answer questions and provide information for students who are uncertain about their career direction and college options and to meet with parents to help them understand the college application process. In our independent school environment, we work together to make sure that each student finds a place where they can be happy and successful.
We welcome college representative visits during the school year. Our schedule is published in Scoir. If you do not see your preferred visit date and time available, please email our office to schedule.
